What motivates me

There are on days and off days as far as motivation goes for me. We've been doing quite a bit of adventuring lately due to the fun nature of the task and the b-e-a-ootiful weather we have been having here in st. John's. I was going to post a link to my friend's blog because we're often adventuring TOGETHER and she takes much nicer pictures PLUS actually uploads them too. But you will have to stand the suspense because I can't find it right now....

I'll give you a taste though - it involves walking and water and sometimes high high heights. And almost NEVER wanting to do anything but relax and drink something cool afterwards. The bag that I would fill up with stuff for the day stays on the floor where I drop it so I can carry Joshua up for bed and then only gets attended to the next day when I throw out anything I don't need onto the floor and then fill it up with our newest adventure supplies and head out the door. This happened consistently last week - a surefire way to know it's been a fun week. Finally on Saturday I worked on cleaning up for a while...which brings me to what motivates me

Music) usually on the computer. I've been loving Adele lately, but I really like Mindy Gledhill's new album too. Youtube is usually my source, but I need to get some good stuff of my very own. AND

Ice cream bars) Sometimes it takes 2. In fact, this post wouldn't have even come to pass with out those delicious little vanilla bars wrapped in delicious chocolately coating. We're getting to the end of our ice cream stash, which has lasted quite a while. Thank goodness for cereal that has ICE CREAM COUPONS on it - Five buckaroos towards ice cream...Now we're just waiting for the ice cream to go on two for one sale again so we get DOUBLE the ice cream savings. (Two buckets or boxes full for about 2 dollars!!!YUM!)

So now I've posted I should (wuh wahhh) clean. :P Wait, that face looks much too happy. :( but that one is too sad : THERE WE GO! that's it!

what motivates you?

Beautiful weather and fun with friends

So I wrote a big blog about a terrible horrible no good very bad day (with beautiful weather) but it got erased. So I'll count that as a blessing for ya'll that you don't have to put up with my rantings and just say we had fun playing with boxes in the backyard and looking at snails and slugs. Although similiar, somehow slugs are SO gross and snails are really neat. It makes me sad when I hear the unique "pop" of a snail shell accidently trod upon by me or my stroller. Another snail rests in peace, I suppose. Here's to a better day tomorrow!
